Less than thirty days remain before the General Election to decide if history will repeat itself or if the nation will have its first woman, first African American / Asian American-President of the United States!
Your vote is your strong and powerful voice that’s used to decide what issues and policies are most important to you and your community and who will best represent those interests in office. Democracy is at stake, as well as women’s rights, education, immigration, healthcare, public safety, foreign policy and the environment. Whatever moves you and wherever you choose to work through your passion, just know that it’s time for action!
Vote early, get involved and educate yourself about the candidates; only share facts and your testimony about how this election is impacting you. Be intentional about your civic participation and most of all VOTE EARLY!! It’s our responsibility to speak up for ourselves and the next generation of change agents! The mission is not impossible, it’s attainable if we stand together, take action and make our voices heard at the ballot box!
Please join us on Sunday November 3 as our youth church hosts a mock election.
Please see the sample ballots in the Narthex, listen and watch for announcements that pertain to the election.
